Coach Embree's role

| | Comments (5) |

Former UCLA and Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Jon Embree was watching practice, but could soon join the staff as a graduate assistant. He is being paid by the Chiefs this season, so it could give the Bruins a coach with vast tight end experience on the staff.
Some paperwork issues need to be worked out, but it could happen. Embree's son, Taylor, is a sophomore receiver.

Apparently there is no age limit to becoming a grad assistant. Embree could really help Paulsen improve whats necessary for playing at the next level.

This is VERY good news. He is a top notch assistant coach. All these young WR's/TE will love this dude.

Embree as grad assistant. That's pretty slick for Rick. Embree could probably teach the regular coaches a thing or two about football.

I always thought Grad Assistants were in graduate school. Perhaps it just means they've graduated?

I think it's a good fit. Rick is sometimes too busy, especially when basketball season starts, to place his internet bets. This could really free him up to focus on more important things like dice control and back-counting.
