Forcier's schools
Quarterback Chris Forcier, who was granted a release from UCLA, was looking at Ball State and Purdue for possible transfer options.
Since UCLA's quarter began Monday and the Bruins start spring practice Thursday, there has been some chatter Forcier could change his mind and return to the team and play receiver.
I asked Bruins coach Rick Neuheisel is he expected Forcier to be at Thursday's practice.
"I don't think he'll be around for spring,'' Neuheisel said.

Surprised he's not considering San Diego State. . .
Chatter don't mean diddly, Chris has had enough time to decide if he wants to change postions. He's gone, time to move on, end of story.
Surely he could have found a West Coast school to transfer to?
There's a possibility that UCLA is not allowing him to transfer to a west coast school.
Thank god he's going. He obviously can't handle the complexities of DI football, at least not at UCLA. Maybe New Mexico State would be interested, if they're willing to run a very simplified version of a HS spread scheme. Good bye and Good luck, Chris. Don't forget to hand over your scholie on the way out.
He wouldn't start at SDSU as they have a returning soph QB Ryan Lindley who broke a few SDSU passing records while starting nearly every game as a redshirt freshman.
Purdue would be okay choice going to the Big 10 but Ball State would a rough pill to swallow.
Best wishes to C-Force.
