Ganzs Jr. misses practice
UCLA special teams coach Frank Gansz Jr. was not at practice because he flew to Texas to be with his ailing father, who is in serious condition after undergoing surgery Wednesday.
He will not be at Saturday's spring game, and Bruins coach Rick Neuheisel said there will be little special teams play because of it.
His father, Frank Sr., is a long-time NFL assistant who is now working at SMU.
Here's hoping his father makes a full recovery. I'll keep their family in my prayers.
