Jrue Holiday taking his time

| | Comments (11) |

UCLA guard Jrue Holiday said he still has not decided whether or not he was going to enter the NBA draft, and it is my understanding he could wait until close to the April 26 deadline before making an announcement.

My prediction: Jrue declares for draft but does not hire an agent. He tests the waters and finds out he is projected somewhere in the second round. Then he decides to come back for sophomore year. It's sad that college basketball has become like this...

BC, you need to let the baby bird leave the nest if he can fly. Not so sure if Jrue can fly though.

Yeah, we're probably not going to get the final answer until June 15th.

He's kidding, right? I'm 50 and overweight. If he declares, so will I.

Good... then let's not discuss this topic again until April 26th. BORING. Nick (above) is right about what will happen.

Jrue is not ready. Look it Cory Fisher of Nova. He's a soph and he's much better than Holiday.

Well, the usual argument is:

more time in college means better prepared vs. risk of injury.

Now you have to factor in the direction the economy is headed, will NBA teams and endorsers still be offering the same money in a year or two?
