Former UCLA all-American center Kevin Love is being pushed by the Minnesota Timberwolves for NBA rookie of the year, and they put together an infomercial to pump him p.

God, i wish this guy were one year older. Then he would have been on the same team as Arron Afflalo, and may have even tempted Jordan Farmar to come back that year too.
Doubtful Jordan would have been back since he was a first-round draft pick by the hometown Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA. You really think he would have passed that up to play with Love? Stop smoking those funny cigarettes.

Wow. Kevin Love is an amazing basketball talent and I'm glad we had him on our team even for only one year. But this infomercial is LAME. Does anyone really think this is going to help his chances to win ROY? I can appreciate the small-market disadvantage of playing in Minnesota and the need to generate publicity, but "Mr. Love's Glass Cleaner?" It's just sad to see KLove having to pimp himself out in such an amateurish way.
Frozen and shaved, it's great as a dessert topping.

Kevin Love is having a good rookie year (on a horrible team)... Russell Westbrook is having a better year (on a horrible team as well)...
Personally, I think Westbrook has had a better rookie year for OKC... who in their right mind saw that coming?? Westbrook will finish ahead of Love in the ROY voting in my opinion.
Props to both players for having productive rookie years (on horrible teams)...
Mikey, are you saying their teams should be better? If you are taken as a top five pick in the draft, like Love and Westbrook were, then you are going to go to a bad or mediocre team. That's just the way the draft works. Are you expecting those two to completely turn their respective teams around in one year? That's foolish. Minnesota went 22-60 last season. Oklahoma City, as the Seattle Sonics, went 20-62. Both teams this season have already matched their win totals from last year and there are still a few games left in the season.
