Neuheisel on his new receivers
UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel was asked about Osaar Rasshan's switch from quarterback to receiver, and whether it is feasible to expect Rasshan to be able to pick things up quickly the last week of spring practice, or make his presence felt in training camp.
"I don't rule anything out, but you can see where it's problematic,'' Neuheisel said.
Neuheisel was also asked about Chris Forcier's ability to play. Forcier, reluctantly, shifted from quarterback to receiver before spring practice.
''Certainly you take your hat off for being willing to do things in an effort to help the team,'' Neuheisel said. "But you can't, just to reward the great effort, slow down the team to create playing time, if it's not merited. You just have to be honest and see how it goes.''

Re: Forcier
What Neuheisel didn't say is, "And, of course, a kid that shows his unhappiness in his comments to reporters is less likely to get reps than a lesser player."
If C-Force stays can you image the tricks Norm could use with C-Force and Osaar out wide...
