One more pro day thing

| | Comments (2) |

Punter Aaron Perez (a good guy despite being an Arsenal fan) was the last to take the field at Tuesday's pro day, but it was worth the wait. He punted very well, getting nice hang time and directional kicking superbly.
From what I'm hearing, the Cincinnati Bengals were one of a few teams interested in Perez.

is this a tough yr for punters to come out or something? one would think there would be a bunch of teams interested in Aaron.

There are a couple people out there with similar distance averages and hang times as Perez. The problem with Perez is that he's a little inconsistent with a rush in a his face. He also takes a little longer to punt the ball. He's kind of a long strider. And even though he's a big and fit guy, he's not very good covering his punts.
