DeFrancisco passes away

This is from UCLA:
Nate DeFrancisco, a three-year UCLA football letterman (1939, 1940 and 1941) as an offensive/defensive guard, passed away Tuesday (April 28) in Fairview, TX, where he lived for the past four years after relocating from his hometown of Riverside, CA. He was 87 years old. He is survived by his wife Jo, and their three daughters, Rea, Crista and Jan.

DeFrancisco, a member of the Riverside Hall of Fame, served as Dean of Students at Riverside College for many years.

Among the Bruins DeFrancisco played with were Kenny Washington, Jackie Robinson, Woody Strode, Al Sparlis and Bob Waterfield.
