Paulsen injured

| | Comments (3) |

Tight end Logan Paulsen was injured when he landed after a reception early in Saturday's scrimmage. He caught a pass for 19 yards, hobbled and was tackled at the sideline. It appeared to be a foot injury as he started hobbling right when he came down witht the ball. Paulsen is scheduled to have an MRI. Paulsen was injured in the first game of the season last year with a fractured right foot. It's unclear if the injury is to the same foot. I will try to have an update for you as soon as I get one.

not good news. We are thin at TE and are looking for Logan to assume a big role on next years team. That being said, it is only spring, so hopefully an injury would not mean he would have to miss any time in the season.

Looks like Logan might be heading down Big Ben's injury-strewn path. That particular injury seems to be something that big fellers have more trouble with than lighter guys. Unless the docs can strengthen his feet bones, maybe through fusing them, Logan's career could be at a dead end. I certainly hope that ain't the case. Thanks for your report, Jill.
