Paulsen update
Here is an update from UCLA tight end Logan Paulsen:
The C-T scan on UCLA tight end Logan Paulsen's right foot is negative for a fracture. The bone shows healing all the way through. We are calling his foot ailment a "stress reaction" and will keep him in a boot and on crutches for the next two weeks to keep from aggravating the foot.

Tomorrow's release: Nate Chandler agrees to move back to offensive tackle for the good of the team.

I still think it would be wise to look into the potential adidas shoes issue. Obviously our larger players are having trouble with them. I even remember Chris Markey having issues with turf toe that were likely linked to the construction of the shoe. This solution would probably be on the pricey side, but it may be possible to get custom made adidas for people like Logan. Supportive insoles would be a nice touch as well. I am a cross-country and track runner and I have found that insoles are the way to go.
Maybe its the socks?
Socks or shoes. In my time, we played barefoot, no helmets, and still kicked butt. I'm fearing that Logan is sufferin' from Olson syndrome. Once them metatarsals go on ye, you're just 'bout finished. Hope not, but it don't look too rosy for the lad. Run a few pounds off Chandler and get him ready to block for Prince and catch the occasional dump off.
