Post-practice tidbits

UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel said he was pleased with practice, although he admitted it is frustrating for players when guys are wearing shorts and not hitting. The Bruins will be in full gear Saturday, but will not be hitting live. That is reserved for part of next week.
Quarterback Kevin Prince looked good today, but offensive coordinator said freshman quarterback Rich Brehaut was "swimming" because of how new everything is.
Running back Christian Ramirez tweaked his left hamstring and was held out of some drills, but he said he should be ready for Saturday's practice.
