Recruits at practice
Several recruits were at practice, including Lugo High of Chino defensive tackle George Ugo, offensive tackle Jamil Douglas of Cypress High and quarterbacks Bo Revell of Battlefield High (Haymarket, Va.) and Bradon Cornette of Santiago High of Corona.
Also, at practice was UCLA's only Heisman Trophy winner, quarterback Gary Beban.
Gary Beban = winner.
Beban's loss to USC in the (crosstown) "Game of the Century" got the Trojans the attention they needed to win the National Championship.
He will always have a special place in the hearts of Trojans.
