Woods pleads not guilty

The lawyer for UCLA safety E.J. Woods entered a not guilty plea in regards to six misdemeanor battery and sexual batter counts in Los Angeles Superior Court this morning. Woods did not appear and a pre-trial date was set for May 12.
Woods' lawyer, Nancy Sperber, declined comment.

While I'm a big fan of innocent until proven guilty, and supporting someone during tought times, something about SIX counts of misdemeanor battery and sexual battery counts is disturbing.

Perhaps LAWYER JOHN can give us his unbiased and fruitful insights on the matter.
