When you really think about it, all the drama created by the comments section(some of which I regrettably partook in)does create much needed traffic for this blog in a downtime for UCLA sports.

I don't even know how to express how embarrassed I am by the behavior of some of these "Bruins."

Unbelievable ball washing by some of you. There is absolutely no reason to kiss Jill's a$$. Her remarkbaly uninspired post about Brett Favre started this sh*tstorm and the Bruin Fans called her on it. It is what it is, make us read crap and we will serve it right back

Though no one is forcing us to read it, in a democracy, we are entitled to voice an opinion on it. I do agree that those opinions should be respectful, however.

I just read the now infamous IF post by Jill and the (edited) comments. HILARIOUS! I was laughing so hard. Sorry, but I gotta agree--what was the point? Just because I question the relevance of Jill's post doesn't mean I question her talent or her right to post it. And how does covering other sports and getting assigned stuff by your boss explain Jill's judgment to deem that post newsworthy?

Honestly, I am embarrassed for you all. Have you no lives? Whats next, the 1st comment for each post somebody will write 1st? Its like you are a bunch of 3rd graders or Juniors at SUC.

This is a sports blog and like it or not it is mostly guys on here. When I get around my friends and talking about sports it is a different conversation than if we are around our wives or at church or other palces. It is more crude and if you say something lame or stupid (Jill, not that your post was lame or stupid) people tend to get brutalized for it. Dohn has been fairly brutal to some on here for their off topic speculative questions. Jill's was just that. I do have to tell you though. I usually only go to a thread once or twice, but I came back to that one about 15 times because they were so funny. If Jill does not like the way guys talk, she would not be in this business now would she?
