Here is the 12th set:

With all the incoming OL recruits, how come CRN did not choose to let some of the less talented OL go if there is more talented RBs?
Because the fifth and sixth running back isn't needed, but the ninth and tenth offensive lineman are needed, in practice and possibly in games. Plus, there may be a market for the running backs to continue their careers, so it is a much easier sell.

Where is Westgate, D Carter, M Scmidt?, and D Holmes on the depth chart? Will C Bradford play this year?
The defensive players you mention are all second on the depth chart, and I expect Holmes, Westgate and Carter to play on some vain on defense, and Schmitt on special teams. I do not see Connor Bradford playing this upcoming season.

Do you foresee the Bruins offering Jesse Scroggins(sp. check) QB from Lakewood?
Not right now. UCLA has a pecking order for quarterbacks, and he's not high enough right now.

The Pauley redesign ignore the stadium's biggest problems: sightlines for all fans. Is it too late to stop the awful Pauley redesign? Any chance Bergman and/or other big donors can save UCLA from itself?
It is not too late until the shovels begin digging, but there are inherent problems with the facility. Sight lines were addressed, but in some instances they cannot be improved unless the roof is lifted and the seating is pitched more. And then you are talking about really serious cost issues.

Do you think it hurt UCLA bball to lose Kyle Caudill to ASU? (considering we didn't offer a scholarship) Tracy Pierson keeps referring to it as a major loss
In some regard it is because Caudill was a regular visitor to UCLA's campus, and he is a big body the Bruins may want down the road. That said, it is a long, long time before Caudill can sign a letter of intent, and if he develops into an elite player, I don't think his recruitment is over.

Who is our # 1 and 2 receivers, now that DJ is gone? If it's 4th and 15, what play would you call and who would get the ball?
The top two receivers are Terrance Austin and Nelson Rosario, the same as if Johnson was at UCLA. And on fourth-and-15, I'm sending in Jeff Locke to punt.

What NBA team (on top of your head) would be the best fit for Jrue Holiday? During his rookie year, do you project him playing over 20 minutes per game?
I don't know enough about the NBA to make a guess.

Brian, I always thought the top two receivers were Austin and Embree. Did Rosario overtake Embree because he did not practice all spring?

Jeff locke to punt, that was a good one. Jrue holiday will be missed, it's too bad we didn't get to see the best of him since he was out of position. But the guy is amazing and will be great down the road in the NBA

If the look and feel of the exterior of Pauley Pavilion is important, and a more pitched seating arrangement is needed, then why can’t the floor be lowered? Every potential engineering problem that might be encountered by going subterranean has already been solved on other construction projects. Or is there something else already under Pauley?
