"USC ... haters" is pretty damn funny.

"I guess we just didn’t play together." That pretty much sums up UCLA's season, I guess, and is the main reason Jrue is in Florida and not getting ready for his sophomore season.

Well, I missed it last time, so thanks for the "re-link" Jill. Heaven forbid the link got posted twice!

My opinion of college basketball and its 'one-and-doners' has hit an all-time low. When are the authorities going to make a stand and demand a commitment of at least 3 years from any BB player given a UCLA scholarship? Also, from reading some of the comments, the blog seems to be getting a bit nasty, especially re Jill Painter. To me, that's tasteless, ill-informed, and out of place. Keep giving us the latest news on our beloved Bruins, Jill, and ignore the rude comments.

Jill, you've done a good job filling in for BD. Even with your limited postings, I'm sure this blog still gets 3x as many hits as Wolf's.

Fast-forward 10 years to a Twilight Zone episode starring Mr. & Mrs. Jrue Holiday...

Mrs. Holiday: You bought another pair of shoes? Didn't you just buy a pair of shoes last week?

Jrue: Yeah, baby. But last week's shoes were the red high-tops with the black trim that match my Chicago Bulls jersey. These purple and gold Nikes I got today go perfectly with my Laker warm-ups.

Mrs. Holiday: I'll never understand what it is with you men and shoes.

Sounds like Jrue is not coming back!
