Spotted: Honeycutt
Tyler Honeycutt was at the Valley Sports Federation Battle of the Valley All-Star game at Cal State Northridge tonight but did not play. He was invited but declined. He already played in one all-star game and has another scheduled. Honeycutt went to watch Sylmar teammate and friend, Gary Ricks. Honeycutt will be on campus soon as he'll be taking two summer school classes.

Hmmm... the fact that you even recognized this as some sort of Gossip Girl reference is disturbing....
Without research, many would be unaware that the reference is to a show appearing on CW, a network whose shows "appeal to women 18 to 34-years-old.". Not that the two aae mutually exclusive, but come on, this a sports blog, not exactly appopiate stuff here.

Basically, the show always has references where a voiceover says something like: ``spotted: So and so is out with so and so. Basically, it's just gossiping about people...I really just used it as a headline to say where Honeycutt was. Nothing more than that. Just trying to have a little fun.
