ND QB Ryan Kasdorf transfered from Canyon High School. Why? And is he related to English teacher Ron Kasdorf at Canyon?
I have no idea. On either question.

Any feedback on how the new coaches Tim Hundley and Carnell Lake are doing , especially with recruiting ?
No, not yet. I know the players say how great each one is because of different types of experience, but my feeling is you have to wait before making a determination about how a coach is doing until a season is in full stride. Recruiting-wise, I’m not hearing a lot about either right now, but that doesn’t mean they are doing bad jobs.

Have the Bruins moved on in there recruitment of Lakewood (QB) Jesse Scroggins ? In regards no scholie offer ?
Nope, and I don’t think it is going to happen.

How do you feel the Bruins will fair with getting football recruits east of the Rockies to commit ? Is it a krap shoot ?
I think it is always difficult to get out-of-state kids unless there is a previous tie to the school, so while I think UCLA may get a few out of state kids every year, its success on the field will be a result of its recruiting success in SoCal.

How effective will our O-line be in the fall with the addition of Hasiak and Su’a Filo?
Got me. Are they going to be able to play as freshmen, or will they be overwhelmed? There’s no way to tell until they practice, then play in games.

Is UCLA interested in PG Donte Smith, who is supposedly wavering on his commitment to USC? Is there any possibility of Roll learning the PG position in order to help with depth?
I have not heard about that happening with Smith, and Roll does not have the ball-handling ability or quickness to play point guard.

When you have an athlete such as Randall Carroll who is a legitimate two sport star, can you use a track scholarship offered even though he would also play football? Does this happen very often?
No, NCAA rules stipulate if an athlete is on scholarship and playing football or men’s basketball, his scholarship must come out of those sports. It is done to counter what schools used to do, and this is use other programs on campus to get more scholarship players for the money making programs.
