Here is the second set of answers:

Why can't the third level yellow seats in Pauley Pavilion cantilever over the second level blue seats, at least partially, to get them closer to the playing floor? Access to the third floor seat can be made at the outside concourse.
I don't know. I'm not an architect. But my guess is the cost would be astronomical.

Most likely scenario:Capt. Phil goes thru an entire episode without smoking or pounding a Red Bull, Neu and Pete sign a joint non-competitive agreement regarding recruiting or Branden Warner tells you the whole truth and nothing but the truth regarding his saga?
Branden Warner telling me the whole truth. I don't think he is far off. I heard months ago he could go to New Mexico State, and that was before any of the other stuff surfaced.

Signature "Catch" scene: Sig constantly saying "We just gotta grind", the Hillstrand boys fist thrusting dance or Capt. Phil inhaling?
Gotta go with Captain Sig. It's like doing these questions every week, I just gotta grind.

Can you confirm that Warner's transcripts were sufficent to get him admitted?
I cannot confirm that because I have not seen them. I can tell you UCLA told Warner he would be admitted if he earned his associates degree, and Warner says he did. We will all find out soon enough.

Most likely scenario: Sig going back to the sorting table and letting Edgar ascend to Capt., Monte finally punching Capt. Keith out or Jonathan being invited on Dancing with the Stars after viewing his Cabo jig?
That Cabo jig was both funny and sad. I'm just glad I finally saw someone with less dancing ability than myself.

Any news on Kansas State opting out of the 2010 game? If so, will UCLA look to schedule an easy win at home, or will Coach Neu look for a neutral site game, perhaps in San Antonio?
Right now it looks like the Kansas State game will go, but it could change between now and February. I think K-State is trying to fill out its schedule, so dropping a game isn't very good.

Since Fall Camp doesn't start until August, what types of questions would you consider to be good questions? I can't stand questions like, "Who will start at RG?" If the coaching staff doesn't know, how can we expect you to know?
I don't know because I have a different base of knowledge than the readers. But you are correct, the "what will happen" questions are tiresome, and foolish, in my mind.

Brian, since Eddie Williams is being considered a possibility for the D-line, did he have much experience playing DT at the jc or high school level? Was he any good at it?
He has played it at the junior college level and I was told he was ok, but his better spot was on the offensive line. And UCLA needs him more on the offensive line than on the defensive line.

this is starting to be more and more like wolfs blog where he makes Q&A sessions on totally off topic items. Very dissapointing...

but besides that, the answers to the UCLA related questions are great! thanks BD!

Let's not get carried away here. Dohn posts more Bruin sports-related info in one day on this blog than Wolf does in a month! Thanks for all the hard work Brian - it is very much appreciated.

It's the offseason. How many different ways do you want him to say he can't share more on the Warner situation at this time.

About Inside UCLA

This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.
