The youngsters began their camps at UCLA today, and proud papa and former USC star Keyshawn Johnson was there to watch his son, Keyshawn Jr., participate.

About Inside UCLA
This is Brian Dohn's sixth season covering UCLA after spending 4 1/2 years covering the Dodgers for the Daily News and other Los Angeles Newspaper Group papers. He graduated from Rutgers, where the first college football game was played in 1869. Sure, the Scarlet Knights suffered for a long time, but now RU is doing what Jerseyans always thought was possible. Winning at Rutgers also proves winning is possible everywhere else in the nation, so underachieving coaches better be careful. Now, if only men's hoops can turn it around.About this Entry

Key Sr. was just a beast in college and it's hard not to respect his desire to go across the middle in the pros.
Best wishes to Key and best of luck to his son wherever he lands.
btw: Brian, what camp is it and does it mean Key Jr. has committed somewhere?
I heard about it and was going to ask you about Keyshawn.
But they are so young and so small when I looked in this afternoon. Would you send your kid to camp so young?
Its a kids camp and Key Jr. is 11 years old a little early for a commit.
Unless you're Tim Floyd..
I am committing to UCLA on behalf of my 3 year old. He's really good. Height predictors have ending up around 6'6" and he's fast. I bet he'll hit hard too, so I'm asking Neuheisel to offer him early.
Make sure Key Jr. isn't a prop 48 kid like Sr.
