Nottingham appearance
Quarterback Brett Nottingham from Danville Monte Vista High showed up this morning for the last session of the three-day camp, and got plenty of attention from the coaching staff.
With Taylor Graham committing to Ohio State, I expect UCLA to offer Nottingham, perhaps even later today.

Brian, did Cass. Marsh show up to the morning session?
How about Ryan Kasdorf?
On ESPN, Greg Biggins interviewed Marsh and once again he said UCLA wasn't among his top choices. He said he liked Cal, SC, LSU, and Oklahoma. I'd love to have the kid but it just doesnt seem like the interest level is there. Have you heard different Brian?
Brian, first of all, I have immense respect for you as a journalist. You implied in your previous Q&A that you wouldn't be surprised if Marsh committed to the Bruins. How do you square that "insight" with the comments from the Biggins blog directly from Marsh himself? As a journalist, I believe you should clarify that comment as either an opinion based on knowledge or an opinion independent of any information you may or may not have.
strange indeed, but why is March allegedly camping with UCLA today if he's not interested in us? If he's a no-show, then Brian has some 'splaining to do, but if he's there, I'd questions the story he told to Biggins.
Marsh was not at UCLA today. He didn't show although several of my sources expected him to be on campus.
Not really sure what explaining I have to do, but that is another matter.
Your readers would like you to explain what information, if any, you had when you stated that you expected Marsh to end up a Bruin. From all other reports it looks like that wont happen. Thanks Brian.
this is the same brian Dohn that claimed UCLA had an "Ace i nthe hole" regarding recruiting Hasiak. The readers on here made fun of Brian and made the typical inane comments (One thing brian, most comments were not inane about the Brett Farve thingy with Jill Painter) we see on here like these.
Brian was way right and he did a great job. Remember, this is recruiting HS kids and most don't know what they are doing 5 min from now comapred to a year from now. Recruiting is by no means an exact science.
No one is personally attacking Brian. However, a comment he made 10 days ago is refuted by the person himself. As readers, we have a right to know if Brian's thoughts on a specific recruit come from knowledge within the program or a general feeling.
In this matter, it appears the sources within the program were led to believe something else.
Nottingham commited
Where's the post Dohn?
@bruin nc
as a reader the only right you have is the right not to read this blog
Anonymous, you probably believe everything you see on TV as well.
Mike Chat:
Brian also swore all last year that he felt Michael Phillipp would end up at UCLA. Then he ended up at Oregon State?
Not trying to bring him down here. We would just like him to expound on his reasoning for believing Marsh will end up in Bruin Blue. Man, not to knock him, I sure hope he is right.
However, if you remember correctly, Vae Tata, the "Ace in the Hole", helped us get in with Hasiak. But, Chow flying to Hawaii at the last second sealed the deal.
Everyone needs to get off Dohn's case..relax people!
Brian, you look to be wrong in your assertion. If you want to retain your credibility, you have to explain where you got your information that you based your assertion on. Otherwise, people will have to assume that your assertions are just guesses, or far worse.
RodneyGuillory: Dohn is holding himself out as a journalist. I think people should be getting on his case.
No disrespect, Dohn, but as a Bruin faithful I do not appreciate my hopes being elevated based on conjecture and intuition instead of cold hard facts, and then crashed into bolivian. This is not a women's sewing circle, but a place where accurate recruiting info is to be shared. Am I out of line here? Is Marsh just a lying 16-year old punk, or were you just simply dead wrong about him?
