Closing some loose ends

Back from vacation and sifting through my inbox. Freshman running back/defensive back Dalton Hilliard had surgery last week because of a “loose body” floating in his right knee. UCLA believes the injury was a pre-existing condition, and right now it will be tough for Hilliard to be 100 percent for the start of training camp next month.
Also, there were some date changes to UCLA’s Pacific 10 Conference schedule, and those are listed below.

Approved men’s basketball schedule changes for 2009-10 season

Below is a summary of the adjustments made to the 2009-10 Pac-10 men’s basketball schedule

Week 1 – December 31, 2009 – January 2, 2010
1. The Arizona/Arizona State at UCLA/USC series on December 31, 2009, and January 2, 2010,
was flipped.

Week 2 – January 7 & 9, 2010 (Note: The BCS National Championship football game is scheduled
for Thursday night, January 7, 2010, at the Rose Bowl.)
2. The UCLA/USC at California/Stanford series was changed from a Thursday/Saturday
schedule to Wednesday/Saturday (Wednesday, January 6, 2010 and Saturday, January 9,
2010) and flipped. To maintain schedule balance, the California/Stanford at UCLA/USC series
also was flipped.
