Chasing the Trojans
UCLA coach Rick Neuheisel was asked about the Bruins' pursuit of USC in the Pac-10, and on the national landscape.
"We've proven we can recruit with them. I believe we will continue to recruit with them,'' he said. "I believe, based on the resume of my coaching staff and what I know about them, we can coach with them. ...
"The question is developing our game to the point where we are as developed as they are. We're not there yet. You can't run on to the field with those guys and say you're there yet."

That's really well said by CRN. I do look forward to developing our team's game to the extent USC has.
There is one thing the trojans do well, however, that nobody will ever be able to match...
CHEATING
But i guess if you wear ketchup and mustard, ncaa rules and violations don't apply. That clause must be written in fine print somewhere in the ncaa rules book.
I really have high hopes for Coach. I love his optimism. Its always positive, but not naive.
Most of what CRN says is right on the money.
I said it before he was hired and I said it when he became coach. You are making a huge mistake if you underestimate Rick Neuheisal. He is a great coach and will prove that shortly.
When do we get the Q&A back? I have REALLY missed it!
Amen. Coach Rick will lead us to the Promised Land. Just give the man a little time.
Hey Anon:
Don't underestimate Coach CRN, unlike your bitter unsubstantiated rumours about SC, your Coach has the track record and titles as one of the crookedest coaches in the sport.
Great Open Letter from Ted Miller to Pac 10 Freshmen
"Dear First-Year Players:
Welcome to college football! The next four or five years could be the best time of your life.
Or they could be miserable.
First thing you need to know: You are nowhere near as good as you think you are."................

Come now Rick knows cheating as well as anyone, there you go again underestimating him.
Brian, the blog is changing - no updates in 3 days and no Q&A in a month. Are these changes permanent?
Yeah Brian, it's ok if you're burned out and need to take it easy for a while. Just reassure us that things will go back to normal at some point.
only losers and haters mention cheating when the article was about being progressive and achieving a level of success.
remember, Neuheisel has a bad track record and Carroll doesnt have one major infraction against him! so state facts, not wishes or assumptions!!
