In my opinion, AZ State will not finish better than us.
Did you have a vote? If so, do you mind telling us where you picked UCLA?
Time to prove them wrong!
seems a little harsh, especially when you yourself have said we could win 8 or 9 games this season (unless of course the PAC-10 is that good this year which i doubt).
I too, am curious how you voted/would have voted.
I hope they are wrong but I think they are right. UCLA is still a year away from being good.
I will enjoy watching UCLA prove them wrong.
There is no way Arizona St finishes 5th. They'll be the biggest bust, finishing at 8 or 9. I'm actually more worried about Arizona.
Really, you can toss around 5-9 in many different orders.
Switch OSU and Oregon's positions, and switch UCLA with ASU and they have it right.
To me, Cal and SUC are the top 2 and Wash. St. is 10, other than that you could place any of the other 7 all the way up to 3rd. Each and everyone of tthose 7 has some exciting potential, but they also have possible blowup areas that will crash their programs.
I think 7 is too low for us. I think realistically we are 5th, depending how the season plays out we might be able to get to 4th. I think we are easily better than ASU and Stanford, possibly OSU. I don't think we are better than SUC, Cal, or OU just yet. However, an injury here or there to our rivals and who knows what happens. Cal and OU have been known to have key injuries middle to late in the season and for having middle to late season collapses. However, barring injuries, I don't see us higher than 5th to 4th.
