I'm really impressed with Earnest Thomas. 25+ offers and he chooses to come out here to UCLA? Pretty crazy. With EJ Woods transferring and Akeem Ayers going to the NFL in a few yeas - I think we've found ourselves our new Will backer or Strong Safety.

very impressive. it does seem strange that he's coming all the way out here. hopefully, we can hold onto him until signing day.

does anybody know the name of the track on the highlights?

this kid stalks his prey and goes after it.

the song on the track is T.I.-What up, What's Haapnin'

I expect him to be listed as Weakside Linebacker at 6'2 220 as a RS Fr.

yeah its T.I.

I saw about the video... it doesn't show much of him in coverage. Also, he seemed a little slow on the reads and getting off blocks. His hitting was decent though.

Better than 3* ranking, good pick up,I hope Ucla can hold on to the kid because schools are going to come after him,he'll play wlb.

The kid's a ball hawk and loves to bring the pain. Reads well then closes quick and hard. Needs to improve his balance, but that can be coached. Welcome to the fold, Earnest.

Wow, I don't think there was a single YAC (yard after contact) in the whole video. Kid's a hitter. I still shudder when I think of Edgerrin James dragging our entire defense across the field, so its good to see guys like this on our team.

Didn't show any highlights of his coverage skills, which leads one to believe he'll be a LB.
