C-Ram doing his MoJo impersonation
Christian Ramirez - are you calling him C-Ram yet? Do you want to start? - said during Media Day on Monday that he expected to be used in a variety of ways this season.
Then he went out during practice and caught passes left and right, working out of backfield on screens, flashing out as a safety blanket, even chipping blitzers and then popping out as an extra option.
Norm Chow echoed C-Ram's comments, mentioning how good his hands are.

I think the Scout and Rivals "insiders" are going to be having a mafia style sitdown with Jon Gold (SDSU alum) and try to reign him in. He is bad for business but great for Bruin Fans. Jon thanks for the hard work and you are still in contention for the club championship. I say 2 under yesterday for a total of 4 under par the week.
I vote no on the C-Ram idea. Maybe I can get used to CRAM, but I'm tired of the first initial, first syllable nickname. When does it end? J-Go? J-Pain? R-Neu? We need to stop this and stop it now.

C-Ram is an excellent nick name!
I'm not a big nickname person. I'm of the opinion that nicknames find a player, rather than are given to him.
But since we're on the topic ... Ram-Bam? Well, depending on whether he takes on tacklers head on...
Also ...it's kind hard for me to make the comparison between Chris Ramirez and MoJo, just because of their body type. Playing style might be another story, but MoJo's body-type was so distinctively short, stocky and strong it's hard for me to line the much lankier Ramirez up alongside him. The current UCLA back who most resembles MoJo in stature is Milton Knox, though I don't think Knox has the same sprinters' speed as MoJo.
