Clip it and Rip it - Keyes hit on Bomar

Dennis Keyes is a good dude. Just a very nice guy, family oriented, polite, all that good stuff.
But I would not want to get hit by him.

Textbook tackle. You can't draw it up any better, except that it took place 12 yards down the field.

You teased us a little: I thought this was going to be the clip of Bomar getting de-cleated later in the game by Keyes for a fumble return for a six-pack by Havner.

Didn't Dennis Keyes have another bigger hit on BOMAR for a sack, fumble and score?

Yes a good tackle but nothing post worthy. I too thought this was the big hit that caused the fumble. Now that was a hit! That was one of the best games ever!!!

Man the BIG 12 is OVERRATED

PowderKeg has it right. Set your feet, squat, tuck and dump. They stopped teaching that for a while... at least under Larry Kerr. Great fundamentals will be one of Dewayne Walker's many Bruin legacies... and Dennis Keyes will be that much better an asset because of it.

GO BRUIN BLUE.
