In Monday's weekly press conference, Rick Neuheisel said Kevin Craft would be the first one to go in if Kevin Prince went down heading into Week 1.

Redshirt Brehaut if you can. Craft has experience. Yes, I know, he set the dubious INT record last season, but give the boy a break, will ya? He had a line like swiss cheese and was thrown in when the #1 and #2 QB went down in the same week in Fall Camp.

That's very true. I'm satisfied with him being the backup. Let's just hope he never has to go in.
Definitely redshirt Brehaut. He will be our most talented QB, but it's worthless to have him play 5 minutes this season.

I guess but what was so bad about Craft was how he telegraphed every single pass. One would think that he would get a little better as the season progressed but instead the opposite happened. Our O-line was probably the other 50% of the problem. I truly feel bad for Craft because I'm sure he is pretty good under a shotgun offense but the idea of him coming in to play again really scares me.

When it comes down to it i trust CRN. All fingers crossed and knock on wood.

Go Bruins.

So Barkley beets out Corp, Mustain and Green, and Brehaut can't beat out Kevin Craft? I can't tell if this is good or bad.

Barkley is an extremely gifted player...wise and mature beyond his years. He may be the next Carson Palmer. Brehaut will take a bit longer to develop, but he will be a very adept QB when the time is right. Coach Rick and Coach Norm are putting us in a secure, long-term situation with our QBs

The OL will not be much better this year than last. Can Prince take the beating that Craft took last year?

Another good reason to redshirt Brehaut is to avoid having two quarterbacks in the same grad class. Now Brehaut will have 1 more year of elig. than Prince. This also helps keep one of the QB's from transferring.

Barkley beat out Corp? or did Corp get hurt? because didn't the story go like this? Corp you have till tuesday to get better or else Barkley gets the starting spot. Now to mention mustain that kid has yet to beat anyone out of anything and green give me a break! He is like a jamaican he has more jobs then anyone on the team, waterboy etc.

Craft is getting a bum rap by some. Craft locked on receivers because the abysmal OL made it imperative that his focus almost always be divided between the inevitable OL breakdown and a receiver. I think it is how he survived the entire season without serious injury, something which Ben, Pat, and Osaar couldn't do.
