Hoops recruiting update

Hey all,

I checked the blog for the last month, and I might have missed this, but take a look at this in-depth Sporting News profile on UCLA target Harrison Barnes.

Gotta say, I love this kids mental makeup. I know little of him - YET! - but just from one interview, I think he's got some serious maturity. That's never a bad thing.

Take a look at this excerpt:

"He has been compared to Duke great Shane Battier because of his composure during media interviews. Ask Barnes what factors will be most important when he chooses from a long list of schools and he answers, "First and foremost, a good business school." He is considering 10 colleges, with Duke and Kansas presumed to be at the front of a line that includes Stanford, UCLA, North Carolina and Florida, and will follow what his mother calls a "methodical" approach to reducing that group to one."

If Barnes is looking for a good business school, we're screwed. He'd have to settle with Econ at UCLA.
