Looks like Jeff Baca will be starting for UCLA on Saturday against San Diego State.
Only not at right tackle, but left guard.
Rick Neuheisel confirmed it in his press conference on Monday.
Stanley Hasiak will play, though.

Makes sense. If Baa filled in for Hasiak when he had the shoulder issue -- and Harris stepped up his game to get Baca's spot on the other side of the line -- then Baca shouldl not get punished. Hasiak will have to re-earn his starting spot. But I am sure he will get some good PT against the Aztecs!

Is there any talk of moving Hasaik or (Baca) to the right to start over Williams? Or has Williams been impressive on the field? Either way, it is really good to see competition on the o-line. hopefully we don't lose it on the d-line.
With the heat these boys will be playing in during the next month or so, I expect to see regular interchanges on both sides of the LOS. Big men need to be rested and rehydrated more frequently than little guys. Agree with UCLABZ: nice to see healthy competition on the O-line.
A little unsettling but the best needs to play.
