The entire success of the offensive line depends upon the play (and health) of the two young guys. Simply put, if they do not perform, we are in trouble because we do not have quality depth at the position. If they go through growing pains, so too will UCLA.

Now, withstanding injury, a core of Williams, Baca, and Mavia should be solid.

Having two Freshmen immediately step in and grab starting positions is just further recrimmination of how bad the o-line was last year.

Being able to start two freshmen is a good indication of where we will be in the future, but it is a scary prospect for this year. We appear to have a group of young talented players who will develop into a dangerous offensive unit, but I'm not holding my breath much for this season.
