Jon - a couple quick questions:
1. Is it safe to say the true freshmen not listed above will redshirt? Similarly, are the freshmen listed above expected to burn their redshirts?
2. Is Pressley officially a TE again (not a receiver any more)?

I'm excited about our RB lineup. Franklin seems to deserve the job, based on his offseason performance. Heck, if we can start a promising redshirt freshman QB, why not the same with RB?
In fact, I think the lineup is so perfect, it should stay that way, even when Ramirez comes back. I've never been impressed with CR. Keep him on the bench and give him a few carries per game. Keep it that way unless he can prove that he deserves the starting spot, instead of having it fall to him. The others on the list simply have more talent, more speed, and more agility than he does.
I think Norm Chow will be very creative in how he deploys Ramirez. Weird as this sounds, he might get more minutes, but less carries, than Franklin. Ramirez is simply a better blocker and a very good receiver, and Chow loves both. Franklin, though, has looked very good during the camp.

Interesting. The blocking I knew about, but the pass-catching ability I didn't. I trust in Coach NC. Should be a fun season. Let's just hope the fires die down soon and the air is decent enough to play. It's hard to accept the idea of waiting two additional weeks to go nuts at the Rose Bowl.

wow, if this team is 7-5 this year with the amount of youth we have, wait until the next 2 years.
Is the fact they don't list Guzman #3 at WLB their way of enticing Pullard or Shirley to commit? Didn't Guzman work with the 3's all camp?
