USC analysis?
Reggie Carter was signing autographs after the morning practice for kids who were participating in a sports broadcasters camp at UCLA. One kid asked Reggie: ``How are you going to stop USC's offense?'' Carter said: ``That's the last game of the season, and you want to talk about that?''
And the kid responded: ``Yeah. They're going to be No. 1.''
Carter responded that he was just thinking about San Diego State right now.
Surprise kid, suc will not be #1. As a matter of fact. Very few on that team has proven anything. I have them pegged for at least 4-5 losses and I'm pretty darn good at predicting stuff. Beware suc, harsh reality is a comin'.

Just got off the phone with Bill Redell - you had me panicked! - and Redell said Malcolm has NOT committed to either Stanford nor UCLA, and the decision is probably a couple weeks away. Breathe easy.

Life's hard in the Big City. Carter should have showed him the gun show and while flexing his pipes should have said, "We're going to stop the Ketchup and Mustard with stack left and stack right." I'm sure San Diego State was the PC thing to say, but I'm sure the kid and I would have appreciated something wittier.
There is no rumor that Malcolm Jones committed to Stanford. That was a joke on the BRO premium board to trick people who just read the subject line. The only Jones who has committed to Stanford is Tai-ler Jones, and hopefully it stays that way. Biggins just wrote an article yesterday talking about how UCLA is in great position for Malcolm. And I have to think that he is right. With the commitments of Bourbon and Wilkerson, along with incoming frosh Gaffney, Stanford already has 3 big backs in the mold of Malcolm. UCLA is a better fit.
haha, suckers. Hope to see Jones with us soon. Was hoping the same for Stills, but not sure that's in the cards.
