Checking in

Hey all,

We’re about 10 minutes away from Monday’s press conference, and I’m pretty sure Reggie Carter is on the dais. Reggie is always good for some great quotes, so we’ll get as much as we can from him.

Rick Neuheisel today, as usual, and I’m hoping to get Media Monday up and rolling again. I’ll also have more pictures from Saturday’s game, some assorted articles from across the country, and a poll.

Thanks for the reads, folks,

    Hey Jon

Is there any way you could give us insight into recruting?

I know you’re busy, but here’s a suggestion. Dohn used to update the links on the right hand side of the blog to include the major newspapers from the city of the upcoming opponent.

Any chance on reviving that tradition?

Hi Jon, first want to say great job so far on this blog. We appreciate the volume of posts so far. I do have a suggestion though. What made this blog so popular w/ us Bruin fans, imo, was the recruiting information we would receive, often before any other website. One suggestion would be more information, if you can get it, on the recruiting front. I don’t know if it’s a matter of just nothing to report at this time, but more recruiting news would be much appreciated.

Again, not knitpicking, but you’re doing a great job!

Can you find out if Prince was wearing his mouthpiece when he got his jaw broke? I noticed he left it in his facemask on a few plays against San Diego.

Good observation Anon @ 1250. I was wondering the same thing…curious if a mouthpiece would have prevented or at least mitigated any injury to his mouth & jaw.

Jon, I’d like to echo some of the sentiments above. The thing that kept all us die hard Bruin fans checking this blog many, many times throughout the day was Dohn’s ability to provide us breaking news. He would always have the inside take on recruits beating out all the paysites and always have the scoop on team news i.e. Prince’s injury, how guys are performing in practice, etc. Don’t get me wrong we all appreciate the interviews and takes, but I feel that more breaking news/inside info is needed to keep me checking this blog multiple times throughout the day.

    Thanks for everything

I never see him wearing his mouth guard. But either way, I don’t think it would have made a difference. Tough break. But RB will step up and do just fine until the Prince returns. Go Bruins!
