Let’s try out the Q&A

OK, so we’re going to go for this.

In the pattern of Dohn’s Q&A sessions, we’ll keep it to 50 words or less. I will choose 10 questions at a time, and I’ll do my best to answer as many as possible. Now, as I’ve said, I’m not entirely familiar with everything, so there will be many questions that I simply cannot answer.

But I will do my best…

Thanks, and wish me luck…

    1. Chow is quoted as saying if Prince is ready and released to play for Oregon, he will be playing. “He is the starter.” In your opinion, is that because Norm likes to stick with one QB or because Prince is really heads-and-shoulders above the rest right now?

    2. If Nick Ektabani gets a starting guard spot, who does he replace? Is he L or R side usually?

    3. Any inside info on the Hasiak situation? (Other than Neuheisel wanted to ‘slow him down.’ Have you noticed any stuff with the Defense after plays in practice?

  • RodneyGuillory

WOW!!!! I really wish some of these people would read the blog and not have to ask redundant questions. People who ask redundant questions should just be referred to the blog log.

Seriously though, this has to win the award for most retarded question.

“Will USC loss to Washington help UCLA in recruiting?”

Hey, Ricky Retardo, if anything wouldn’t the USC loss help Washington in recruiting more than anybody else, since they actually beat SUC on the field? Classic. BTW, SUC has lost to at least one sub par conference team every year for the last 4 years. How much has that helped UCLA or the Pac-10 opposition in recruiting?

  • Spencer

Great job so far! Why are the front sideline rows at the Rosebowl tarped and unavailable? Is it a sightline issue?

I heard UCLA will take Barr M. Jones and James if they committed. Considering the Depth we have at RB would we automatically redshirt them? Even if we get 2 out of 3 that’s alot of rb so close together and would we consider moving Barr or Jones to linebackers or is that out the question?

  • Tristan

    Hey Jon,

How do you think that UCLA’s offense will respond after the bye week? Are we going to see more productivity, esp. from the passing attack?

  • Dan

What is your opinion on the Pre-game, during the game, after the game activities? Do you think UCLA needs to make a more meaniful entrance into the game like other schools do like the SEC or Big 10? How does one make suggestions to the school?

When are you going to put your bio up?

I love Jefferson from Chula Vista and I know they are going hard after Riley. Does 4 safeties seem like too many to you or are they planning on making any of them LB’s? Jefferson plays LB now but they said he will play safety.

Any word on Taniela Maka? Update on Mobley?

  • Bruintx

If Brehaut is so far behind Craft in terms of playbook knowledge and Craft is firmly entrenched as #2 behind Prince, why is the coaching staff burning Brehaut’s redshirt year? This seems like a real waste!
