After One

Tennessee - or more appropriately, Tennessee's pass rush - leads UCLA 10-3 after one quarter.
The Volunteers have been relentless in their handling of Kevin Prince, with two hurries, one sack, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. That one recovery set up a Montario Hardesty 11-yard touchdown run with 3:04 left in the quarter.
The Bruin running game has been adequate, as Johnathan Franklin and Derrick Colemean have combined for eight rushes for 29 yards.

Why was that tackle in the end zone on the punt return not a safety?

I was told the ball did not touch him first. It is the same as if he simply downed the ball.
