Why is it that the teams that are 1-2 always say they let the game get away when they lose to a 3-0 team?

UCLA is my 1st love since 1966. Living in the Midwest for past number of years, I have been to a number of coaching clinics and Bill Snyder's practice is a joy to watch no wasted time, no messing around. Most of all he has his players believing in the system....some say the game has passed him by, me being one of those people. After the game he is back and his kids played hard and had me worried near the end....UCLA needed a tough game with out Prince to see what they are made of, which they proved there worth to win...
