Christian Ramirez and Gavin Ketchum will be available Saturday for emergency purposes ... Guard Nick Ekbatani said he'll start participating in individual drills next week during the bye week and expects to be back for the Stanford game the following week.

Emergency purposes? God help us if we get to the point that we need to call in a couple of limping guys to help us out. Things will be really bad if that happens. Really bad.

Does anyone really think that Ramirez is going to be a major contributor this year? I am not routing against him, but it seems that between all the other backs we have that it would be hard for him to get playing time.
