Leftovers from Tennessee
Tony Dye, on what the win means:
"I'm going to go on the record and say this is a program-changing game. We're going to the top. That's all I have to say about that."
Brian Price on the pregame hype from Tennessee coaches - and former USC coaches - Ed Orgeron and Lane Kiffin:
"We used that as motivation all week. We heard quotes that the coaches were talking trash and the players were talking trash. We didn't want to say anything, we just wanted to come out and play. Any win feels good, but this one is a big one."
And a couple pics...

Why are bruin fans giving the USC victory salute?
the band was probably playing "hail to the hills of westwood," the alma mater. tradition dictates that all students/alumni hold up 2 fingers while it's played after each game.
They put up the two fingers during the playing of "Hail to the Hills of Westwood", or whatever the name of that slow song is. The two fingers up are a V for victory, I believe.
Sorry we're taking that salute, its official, The fingers don't represent the letters "u" "s" or "c" so everyone has the right to do it. In fact I thought it was the "peace" sign at first lol

Sorry the USC victory salute would be with the index finger in the down position and the hand would be turned so the palm is facing the person giving the salute.
BTW, I salute you
It's an Alma Mater song, it's supposed to be slow...You don't see people jamming, dancing, doing flips during an Alma Mater song.......Though, it would be something quite interesting to see!
Ahhhhhh, typical trojan ignorance.....
Any reference to SC requires either a credit card, keys or dollar bills between the two fingers...
Program changing? Delusional is more like it. UT is probably a 4 win team this year.
