Post-Practice Update

| | Comments (3) |

Hey guys,

Rick Neuheisel was in very good spirits after practice today, noting how intense his guys were after a rather lackadaisical Tuesday. Neuheisel did not name a starter, and Kevin Craft worked primarily with the ones today, all part of Neuheisel and Norm Chow's plan to bide their time on the decision.

Gavin Ketchum and Christian Ramirez were deemed questionable for Saturday's tilt with Kansas State, with Ketchum "a little ahead," Neuheisel said.

I sort of feel like the only reason they haven't named a starter by now is because it's going to be Craft. Seems everyone expects it to be Brehaut, so if it turns out to be Craft, they're less prepared.

On the other hand, they have plenty of tape on Craft and zero on Brehaut, so it's not like they could really prepare for him anyways...

Oh, just name a damn starter already...

It will be Brehaut. They just want Craft nipping at his heels all week long. Also, they want Craft to be READY, just in case. If he knows Brehaut gets the start, he puts it in sleep mode for the rest of the week.
