Bruin Alumnae Noelle Quinn, Ann Meyers Drysdale Return To Pauley Pavilion
For LA Sparks Playoff Game Wednesday; UCLA students will be admitted free.

The Los Angeles Sparks will host the Phoenix Mercury on Wednesday in Pauley Pavilion for Game One of the WNBA Western Conference Finals. The game will be televised live on ESPN2 at 7 pm. UCLA students will receive free admission by showing ID at the Central Ticket Office on game day.

Both teams are represented by top UCLA women's basketball alumnae in LA Sparks guard Noelle Quinn and Phoenix Mercury General Manager Ann Meyers Drysdale. She is the only UCLA basketball player, male or female, to ever total at least 1,700 points,700 rebounds and 400 assists for a career. Meyers Drysdale, who is considered the pioneer of collegiate women's basketball, was a four-time
All-American at UCLA from 1975-78. She is a member of the UCLA, Naismith, FIBA and Women's Basketball Halls of Fame and is one of just two Bruin women to have her jersey number (15) retired. She remains the school record holder in career steals (403) and blocked shots (101) and ranks ninth in scoring (1,685 career points), fifth in rebounding (819) and third in assists (544).
