Tennessee tramples WKU

| | Comments (0) |

If anyone wondered how UCLA's Week 2 opponent would fare in its first game under Lane Kiffin, the Volunteers have 657 reasons to smile.
Tennessee piled on 657 yards - including 380 rushing - and senior Jonathan Crompton threw five touchdowns as the Volunteers cruised to the 63-7 win over Western Kentucky.
Crompton threw four touchdowns all of last season, but had his fourth of the day five minutes into the fourth quarter.
Montario Hardesty rushed for 160 yards and a score on 18 carries, while freshman Bryce Brown had 104 yards rushing and a touchdown on 11 attempts.
