A good story and all but there are no other pac-10 teams that have an overweight 6' tall o-lineman starting for them. Until Williams got hurt last weekend, we had two of them starting. I know Jon Gold is a big fan of Kia as well because of his pointed side but lets face facts, Kia has been a disappointment on the o-line since his arrival and when he was hurt he was not playing with the first unit this summer as a senior. Nice kid, below average player for his size.

TruBruin,

I believe you are confusing Kai Maiava, a Sophomore center transfer from Colorado whom the article is about, and who has been a pretty good starter all season, and Micah Kia (a senior) who has been a bit of a dissapointment on the OL.

who cares... what's the word on last week's FB visitors, especially that one pretty good kid from Texas? Tell me what I really want to know, Jon!

No, I digressed since the article referred to Kia I talked about him too, the post was probably better served by being on the I Kia blog post which . I think I will do.
