Post-practice update
* As reported earlier, defensive tackle Jerzy Siewierski has plantar fasciitis and is out indefinitely. Expect at least a few weeks.
* David Carter will start at defensive tackle, but Jess Ward, Justin Edison and Andy Keane will all get increased playing time.
* Neuheisel remained uncommitted at starting right guard, but all indications are the Ryan Taylor will get the gig.
* Aaron Hester will play but will probably not get the starting spot at cornerback opposite Alterraun Verner.

Any updates on Jefferson taking three official visits to other schools? Has he decommitted?
The 4 letter network is reporting that UCLA signed an OL. Have you heard anything about this?
edob3017 everyone would love to get Jefferson to sign, but here are the facts. He decommitted from Stanford, decommitted from SUC (silent commit).
He says he is still a UCLA commit but in the same interviews says that his familiy is moving to Florida and want him to be close and he states that he has always wanted to play out of state.
He is a typical teenager who changes his mind a lot. I hope he signs, but I would be very surprised if he didn't change his mind again. Just my opinion.
Jon, we just earned a commitment from a lineman and no mention of it here. Just a heads up that I would guess that the #1 thing people care about on this blog is recruiting.

I WOULD SAY, GOOD WE NEED ALL THE LINEMEN WE CAN GET, BUT A FEW YEARS BACK WE HAD A CLASS WITH A LOT OF LINEMEN AND HARDLY ANY OF THEM PLAY!! HOPE THE COACHES ARE BETTER EVALS OF TALENT THAN DORRELL WAS!
Hopefully Jon is just traveling to OSU. I have to say I have been dissapointed with the slow posting to this site since he took over. I'd rather have quick news with more details to follow rather than waiting a day or two for a complete report.
