POW: UCLA/Arizona Final Score
Readers: Post your final score prediction. Closest to actual score with correct winning team gets to give me 10 questions to ask a player of their choosing, within reason.
For coming closest last week, spedjones will get to ask 10 questions also next week.

I think we win this one. UCLA 23 Arizona 21
UCLA 27 Arizona 17
Unfortunately, I think the skid continues this week, but the defense comes to play this week and makes it close.
AZ 23, UCLA 17
It looks like Dietrich Riley is NOT coming to UCLA.

Why not? The Bruins are bound to get on track this week and get a 'W'
As I sit here in Boise Airport waiting to board my flight back to John Wayne Airport via Las Vegas, I am left to ponder why the Bruins can't have a top tier footbal program. This was my first business trip to Boise -- in fact my first trip ever to Boise. As I left Vegas yesterday, it was not long before I hit 'nothingness.' It continued for 2 hours until I landed into 'nothingness.' In my 24 hours or so here, I saw the BSU campus, downtown, and the major industrial areas. It is a nice enough city -- clean and friendly. But is is NOTHINGNESS. BSU must use 2 and 3 star recruits, because there is no way in heck that they can consistently land 4 or 5 stars.
The Bruins, on the other hand, are in the midst of 'showtime.' We should be abel to get that talent CONSISTENTLY, but why don't we? Well, #1, we have to have a solid CONSISTENT PROVEN STABLE coaching staff. I think we have that now and they are moving in the right direction. #2, we must be able to sell the perception that we are a team moving in the RIGHT direction. Again, I think that is happening. Not as consistently as it will, but it IS getting better. #3 we ned some 'chink' in the SUC armour, so that we syphon off some of their 'cruits. We're starting to do that.
So, be of good cheer, Bruins! Coming here to Boise just gave me a dose of CRN optomism . . . 'They're gonna make us proud!'
(Can you tell, I'm bored at the airport?)

Arizona wins 54-27 unfortunately. Grigsby will run for nearly 200 yards. He's like Oregon's James but better. CRN better figure things out quick or this season ends just like the last.
I'm as much a realist as anyone here (see my winning score pick last week) but I find it hard to read that article on Riley as any sort of indication he's not going to be Bruin.

Jon,
If I guess the correct score will you finally answer my question about Rick Neuheisel's flyby at Kaiser High?
UCLA 30
Arizona 24
UCLA - 41
ZONA - 3
While sleeping last night i imagined this in my head with complete sportscenter highlights, interview with Kevin Prince, who throws for 376 yards and 3tds, and a comparison between this game and the last 3 on ESPN. I hope i'm right but am off by only a couple of points 'cause i wouldn't know what to ask
UCLA 44

We owe Arizona a 55 point shellacking AT Arizona in the fashion they whipped us in '05....sadly, I don't think it will happen this year. The Wildcat spread will really trouble us as have the last three opponents.
Go Bruins ... anyway!
31-13 Arizona
Jon - how do I get you my questions? I'm ready to fly, baby!

Mildcats 35 to UCLA 15. 5 Tds to 5 Fgs
Hmm....I'll go with 24-21 UCLA. Talked with Embree, Moya, and Paulson yesterday in my class and they seem eager to right the ship. LET'S GO BRUINS!!!
Let's try UCLA 26, UofA 20 in a close one... maybe D stop at the goal line to finnish it?
