UCLA freshman forward and Sylmar product Tyler Honeycutt is out 3-4 weeks with a stress reaction in his right tibia.
An MRI on Saturday night confirmed the injury that was suffered during practice on Saturday.

Honeycutt should go ahead and redshirt this season. He'll miss the first month and probably won't be in basketball shape until later in the season. A bad back, now bad legs.....let him rest this year and get healthy.

HOLY CRAP!!!! That's just great. This season is quickly imploding. It's going to be a tough year. Get ready for a very UnHowland like season.

This is just lovely. I agree with Stan, but it won't happen. These injuries are just absurd. I have the bad feeling in the pit of my stomach that we aren't going to see our young team's potential this season due to key injuries throughout.
My Spartan/Bruin superstar will be back... I'd like to see him out there, even though he'll be behind the curve. This means he won't leave early, at least.
I still think we'll be good this year, because it's not like there is another powerhouse in the Pac... yet...
