POW: Final Score of UCLA/USC

| | Comments (34) |

Readers: Post your final score prediction. Closest to actual score with correct winning team gets to give me 10 questions to ask a player of their choosing, within reason.
NEW RULES: The 10 questions will go to the reader who gets the winner correct with the closest total score; tie-breaker will go to whoever has the closest winner's score.
Matt A. came closest this week, so please shoot me those questions, too, at jon.gold@dailynews.com.
I'll be asking Maltbaa's 10 questions for Alterraun Verner this week, and I'll try to get Matt A.'s in, also.

Thanks
JG

Let's try a high score.

UCLA - 33
$c - 31

I hope for my blood pressure's sake, it is:

UCLA - 99
$c - 1 (they get us on a safety on a 2-point conversion attempt).

Unfortunately, I can see it being a lot like spedjones' prediction. I'm praying for an outcome like UCLArt's.

I know this won't count since i don't have an account, but I'll throw my optomistic prediction in as:

UCLA 23
SUC 17

UCLA: 2
USC: 0

We win in OT on a sack by Price in the Trojies' end zone. By that time, only 3 starters from each team are fit to play in what turns out to be the dirtiest, most penalty-ridden game in the history of the UCLA-USC football rivalry. Players, coaches, and fans from both teams are arrested after a violent melee breaks out in midfield during the celebrations. The following year, UCLA goes on to surprise TCU in the National Championship game. YAY!

UCLA will score one rushing touchdown and four field goals. That's all I can commit to right now.

I want to say UCLA will put up 55 on those losers, but their players can't count that high, so they don't understand the number 55.

I'm excited about this game and actually not dreading it as in years past. However, what scares me is the overconfidence we. It may spell disaster and a blowout by $C. Hope the players stay poised and don't read into the hype we fans are projecting. Stay hungry and play with that chip Bruins.

Go Bruins!

Hey, Jon, I had 21-20 SC, which would make me the winner, but apparently my post got eaten up. What happened?
