Really? This is U-G-L-Y

UCLA is down 61-31 to Portland with 11:19 left.....Bruins fans have a long season ahead. Imagine how bad it could get tomorrow when UCLA is expected to play 10th-ranked Butler (barring a ridiculous comeback, of course).

FREAKEN BRUTAL!!!!

I just tossed my Turkey down the street. I'd like to do the same to our Offense. I have NEVER seen a Bruin team lose so badly, especially to such low level talent.

Has this team EVER heard of dribble penetration? Even Howland looks lost. Painful!!!!

I'm very surprised at how poorly Jerime Anderson is playing: average quickness, poor shooting, and poor decision-making. I know he's been out, but he's been outplayed in every game so far. Plus, Michael Roll has been exposed as an average shooting guard, and Dragovic isn't a senior leader at all. It'll be a miracle for them to make the tournament this year. Coach Howland needs to install some screens because they can't get their own shots. The only bright spot is the decent play by the bigs (Gordon, Keefe, Nelson, and Lane).

This is the worse UCLA team i have ever seen i can't blame it all on the players the coach is a big reason why they are not that good they need 2 take that UCLA off their jerseys because i do not claim these Middle School talented kid's as my team...

This is going to be a very long season. 1, maybe 2, of our players can fill the role of a starter at UCLA. So brutal! At least we have a football game to look forward to this weekend.

Can you imagine playing LB State for last place in the Sunday morning game? Ouch!!! This hurts. Hope to see a little more effort out of our team tomorrow.

I ask this question in earnest: what is the problem? You can't say Portland is a better team w/ better athletes. I'm just not seeing any improvement from game to game. The position of concern to me is the point. Anderson is atrocious. Did he practice over the summer? Where's his growth?! There is no offense, no defense, no nothin'! Maybe they were groggy from big T-Day meals? Wow, how far the mighty have fallen. We're UCLA, school of Coach Wooden; we should be a player year in and year out. W/ Howland at the helm, there should be no excuse for the kind of play we saw tonight. Pathetic.

I keep hoping HOwland is the guy but he hasn't shown it yet. This kind of loss is inexcusable considering all those players are his guys.

If there isn't significant improvement by the end of the season then Guerrero needs to find another b-ball coach.
