Quotables: Temple DT Andre Neblett

On what its like to make a bowl for the first time in 30 years:
“Talking to some of the alumni, they give us our props all the time. They tell us what a great job we’ve done, taking a team to a record like this when there hasn’t been a lot of winning around here. They’ve been waiting on this just as long as we have. To see those guys happy is a great privilege for us.”

On what preparing for UCLA has been like:
“He’s had us going through different phases of practice, getting prepared for these guys. We know they have to travel over here, and we’re already here, and that just gave us extra opportunities to watch more film on these guys, learn what their weaknesses are.”

On who UCLA reminds them of:
“Their O-Line are big, athletic guys like Penn State. Those guys can move, they like to pull their guards. We’re going to try to prepare for what we’re about to get into.”
