Jon, You've inferred a couple of times that Gerhart has another year of eligibility. According to the Stanford site (http://www.gostanford.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/gerhart_toby00.html) he played in 4 years, so unless he asked for a medical redshirt in 2007 he has no eligibility. Did he get a medical redshirt?
Pretty sure he got a medical redshirt for 2007.
UCLA can beat texas jon gold
Its early in the season next year and colt mccoy is the winningest QB in NCAA history. Thats not easily replaced.
Remember its football a lot can happen injuries, weather, funky special teams play. You speak with a tone that says UCLA has a less than 5% chance of winning and thats crazy given UCLA returns a lot of talent next year.
I give the bruins a 50/50 shot at winning at texas because of the fact that UCLA should have more experience at QB and UT had an awful rushing game this year that they will be leaning on early in next season.
Texas will have plenty of early jumps to the NFL as well.
Ah thanks for the new podcast Jon. Feels good that there is an open minded Bruins podcast. The last one I saw was on a site where people get banned if they don't follow the mindset the "moderators" have, really childish actually.
